Erla Jane Ross Died February 23 in the Venice Regional Hospital, Venice, Florida, after a long illness. Jane was born in Allegheny County Pennsylvania on June 1, 1925 and was 87 when she died. After graduating from Carnegie Mellon College she was a stewardess for American Airlines for five years where she met and married Lenard Klasmeier, American’s chief pilot. They had two daughters, Carol and Janice. After leaving the Airlines she taught school in Valley Stream, New York for 21 years. Lenard died in 1997. Later, Jane reunited with her high school sweetheart, Ken Ross of Grove City, Ohio. Ken had lost his wife Helen in 1999. They had one daughter Joy. Ken and Jane were married on May 7, 2002 and moved to Englewood, Florida where they remained till Jane's death. Friends may visit Thursday March 21, 2013 from 5-8 PM at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus Street Grove City where funeral will be held 10:00 AM Friday. Interment Grove City Cemetery.
